Ubisoft revealed its backward compatibility list to highlight all the PS4 games that won't run on the PS5. Ubisoft flagged the titles on its website, instead of releasing the list at Sony's website. But it looks like that the list may have been incorrect, as the company immediately withdrew it from the website.

According to the Ubisoft representative they have pulled the Connect article along with the forum post that talked about backwards compatibility for now as there is a chance of inaccuracies regarding the Ubisoft titles, playable on the incredible PS5.

In the list, Ubisoft claimed that these nine games would be incompatible with the latest gaming console- PS5.

     Assassin's Creed: Syndicate

     Assassin's Creed: Chronicles Trilogy Pack

     Assassin's Creed: Chronicles India

     Assassin's Creed: Chronicles Russia

     Assassin's Creed: Chronicles China

     Risk

     Star Trek: Bridge Crew

     Werewolves Within

     Space Junkies

Ubisoft announces the release of the right list of games by the upcoming week.

Surprisingly, these games weren't mentioned in Sony's PS5 backward compatibility list, which for now has ten games that Sony claims will not be functional on the latest console. On the other hand, all the titles revealed by Ubisoft on the Xbox One will run on Microsoft's Xbox Series X and S consoles says the company.

Earlier, Sony claimed that an "overwhelming majority" of PS4 titles would be compatible on PS5, including over 4,000 games released on the console supposed to be functional on the next-gen hardware, but with certain limitations.

Surprisingly, two PlayStation VR titles, Star Trek: Bridge Crew and Space Junkies, are presumably not backward compatible. Sony has already announced that the PS5 will run with the PlayStation VR, but for that, users need to have a special adapter to use the headset with the latest console.
