You can now get a Raspberry Pi 8GB RAM Model at $75! The company is benefitting further by the sudden increase in the RAM, by releasing the new 64-bit version of its operating system in early beta. The new Raspberry device is almost identical to the one released last June. It consists of the same ARM-based CPU, and HDMI, USB 3, and Ethernet ports.
It must be noticed that 8GB is a lot of RAM keeping the Raspberry Pi size and price in mind. In fact, it’s the same as the rest of the smartphones released this year. Furthermore, the RAM is enough for an entry-level gaming PC. The company reveals that the additional memory will be useful to compile large pieces of software and to run heavy server workloads. Furthermore, they could be used to keep more browser tabs open at one time.
To benefit entirely, the foundation is set to release a 64-biut version of its Raspbian operating system in early beta. It will be renamed to Raspberry Pi OS. The Linux-based operating system utilizes a 32-bit kernel, which means that it can’t fully use the 8GB of RAM.
Raspberry Pi 4 with 4GB AND 2GB of RAM can be purchased at $55 and $35 respectively.
