Behold as Nvidia
unveils its brand new GeForce RTX 3000 series graphics card today!

Don’t worry, because
this is not a tease. According to Nvidia’s fresh Ampere architecture, the RTX
design will have the RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti cards including ray-tracing support
and improved performance.

In addition, Nvidia has
guaranteed much-elevated performance from the RTX 3080 – it will apparently be twice the speed of RTX 2080, even faster than its RTX 2080 Ti card! The shipping
begins from September 17ths and will include 10GB of GDDR6X memory along with
the card. It’s currently priced at $699 which is fair as Nvidia is also
utilizing 8,704 CUDA cores on the RTX 3080 sandwiched with a 1.71 GHz boost
clock.

What’s different about
this new GPU? It’s the upgraded thermal design! The new Nvidia promises a
pennant-shaped board for its RTX 3080 along with a cooling shroud. How cool
does that sound? Basically, this new cooling solution is supposed to improve
the airflow up to 55% and deal with any issues that may have existed in 2080
RTX previously. Furthermore, the cooler is more efficient and quieter. There’s
a bracket exhausting front fan that flows with help from a rear fan.

The new set of details
includes a 12-pin connector on its RTX 3000 cards. These are comparatively
smaller from the traditional connectors. Nvidia is working on a 12-pin
connector that will allow more space on the board for cooling and other
components.

Nvidia seems to be on a
roll as it is also launching an RTX 3070 at a much cheaper price of $499. It
will be unveiled in October and is expected to have a much more capable card
than the RTX 2080. This boost in performance will allow the device to establish
itself worthy of gaming.

It will use a similar
code for cooling along with improved thermals and quieter functioning. No date
is confirmed yet but the launch is expected in October. Nvidia will apparently
use 5,999CUDA cores on this upcoming device and combine it with 1.71GHz Boost
Clock. Moreover, the memory is set to be of 8GB.

Nvidia is hitting it
out of the park as it also introduced its top tier RTX
3090 to the market. This device has a 24GB of GDDR6X memory!
