At the “Time Flies” event, Apple reminded people that the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV are ready to be launched. Hence, soon they’re going to get updates regarding iPadOS 14 and iOS 14 along with the watchOS and tvOS updates.

Apparently, the app developers are yet to receive the complete GM (golden master) builds of the respective updates. Basically, they even seemed rushed as no one had any clue where it was headed. By the end, all we could figure out was that new devices are on their way or if we can say  Apple is going to release iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 14, tvOS 14 on September 16!

We also found out that, in iOS14, the home screen will have all the apps pulled into a new App library. You’ll also have a picture-in-picture mode (but you’ve already seen that in iPads)!

Oh, there’s another app known as the Translation app. Furthermore, in iPadOS14, you can’t put widgets wherever you feel like, but you can do a variety of things with it using the Apple Pencil. Hence, with the scribbling feature, you can “write by hand in any text field across iPadOS, and your words automatically convert to text”.  So, there’s an expanded menu and a bigger screen on its way.

These updates are great for messaging as you can pin conversations and mentions. You can also highlight directions on Maps, enhance the privacy options, and redesign the Music app, etc.
