Come November 12th, Sony’s PlayStation 5 will be launched in the US. For a price of $399.99, you get the digital edition of the console. If you wish for the Blu-ray disc drive, which would give you the option to play 4K Blu-ray movies, disc-based PS5 games, and other PS4 games compatible games, you can avail that as well for an additional $100. That will make the total amount to $499.

The good news is, preorders at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Target, Sam’s Club, and Walmart are being taken. The bad news is, your order might not get through. Although stocks are available at retailers, they are all getting sold out like hotcakes. Keep your hopes high and make sure to check on these stores regularly as they are likely to be able to restock the PS5.
We will continue to provide you with updates regarding the restock of PS5 at these retailers. We suggest you check Walmart. They have restocked the PS5 so you can try your luck. News has it that they got another batch and are allowing preorders at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.
If you would like to know details regarding where to get the PlayStation 5 including the disc drive, your best bet is to try Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, Target, Best Buy, B&H Photo, or Sam’s Club. Those who are looking for the PS5 without the disc drive, you should try Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, Best Buy, Target, or B&H Photo.
Our word of advice; stock sells out very quickly so waste no time in placing your order if you happen to get a console in your bucket.
