Fujifilm has come up with a new software that allows you to convert your X-series and GFX-series mirrorless cameras into high-quality webcams. The company is calling the app Fujifilm X Webcam and it works over USB so now, you can have a sharper lens for a video call instead of the blur camera usually present in laptops.

People are conducting video calls all over the world due to the pandemic and this has increased the demand for webcams, causing a considerable surge in the prices. Previously, Canon released a similar feature with its digital cameras so, with a little extra hardware, you can put in the effort to make your image sharper on video calls.

Fujifilm X Webcam works with the X-H1, X-Pro2, X-Pro3, X-T2, X-T3, X-T4, and all GFX cameras. The app is free for all Windows laptops so download it today for a high-quality webcam.
