Yesterday a teaser of Xbox Game Pass was released after which Microsoft announced the entrance of
Doom Eternal to the gaming subscription.
According to the company, the sequel
to the 2016 reboot will hit Xbox Game Pass on October 1st, and later
this year, it will be launched on Game Pass for PC.
This is apparently the
first game ever to arrive on Xbox Game Pass from ZeniMax Media – a company
Microsoft bought this week. We already informed you about ZeniMax being the
parent company of Bethesda a – high-profile gaming studios.
However, the deal will be finalized early next year.
It makes sense when you
see all these brilliant games on the streaming service of Xbox, as Microsoft
owns them all. Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, confirmed that the company “will be
adding Bethesda’s iconic franchises to Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.”
It also being claimed
that in future, the Bethesda titles will release on Game
Pass on the same day as they launch on Xbox and PC.
Apparently, Doom Eternal
will get its first expansion ever, and it will be called The Ancient Gods –
part one. It will be launched on 20th October but we’re yet to
receive a confirmation on whether Microsoft will include the DLC on Game Pass
at the Launch.
