On
Friday morning, a new Pokémon game was revealed to the world – something fans
have craved for years!
Pokémon
Legends: Arceusis a 3D Pokémon game that looks like an open world. It’s now
coming to Nintendo Switch and is expected to be available in early 2022.
Now
why do we say that fans have wanted this game for years? Well, the latest game
has the open-world visuals similar to the widely popular series. The Pokémon
Company has also released a video presentation as an announcement to alert the
fans.
The
game essentially gives tribute to the Pokémon games of the past by infusing a
new action and RPG element. As per the official website, there is a blend of
mainline Pokémon games in addition to an active gameplay.
Due
to the strong visuals, the game is now being compared to Nintendo’s 2017
reinvention of the Legend of Zelda and Breath of the Wild. The reason for this
comparison is the way the camera moves in the trailer – peculiarly similar.
Apart
from a fantastical open-world nature of the game, the trailer of Pokémon
Legends gives an ode to its foundation – the core which the game was actually
based on.
The traditional version of Pokémon had
tracking, battling, and capturing of Pokémon at its core. It was based in the
Sinnoh region, like in the Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl games.
The
company says that the new game is going to remind you of the long-passed era.
The story that is ready to be unfolded will remind fans of the era when there
was no Pokémon trainer or even a Pokémon league.
Check
out this trailer of the upcoming game!
To
mark the 25th anniversary of Pokémon, we’re going back to the
basics.
But
that’s not it – to celebrate this iconic day, the Pokémon Company has also
announced the trio of the new titles for the Nintendo Switch, which are ready
to unravel in the upcoming months. The company has already pleased the fourth
generation fans of the franchise as the video presentation has given them
glimpses of the Sinnoh region.
According
to the company, the remakes are all going to be player-friendly and the art and
style of the game will preserve the original town and routes. Fans are obsessed
with Sinnoh due to its visual appeal and background music.
Fans
would love the fact that the original starter pack isup for a return! Hence,
you can expect to see Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup in the game.
Pokémon
Shining Pearl and Diamond are ready to unroll worldwide for the Nintendo Switch
sometime this year.
However,
it’s the brand new entry that is taking all the attention from the fans, as its delivering something they’ve always wished for.
Legends interestingly look different in the new game.
What
else is different in the new trailer? Well, apart from the expansive arena and
the open world and nature, the trailer alerts the Pokémon and catch beasts by
throwing the Pokémon balls. Watch Cyndaquil hail from the Johto, discover that
Oshawott is from Unova and Rowlet from Alola. Look, don’t just exclude the
trainers as of yet – like, if they were to be completely dropped, their name
wouldn’t be in the title.
What
do you have to say about the new Pokémon series? Are you excited that it’s
coming to Nintendo Switch next year? We definitely can’t hold our excitement!
