The Western United States is currently facing its worst nightmare: The wildfires have taken over Oregon, Washington, and California – giving life to ashes and flames as well as a post-apocalyptic sky.

2020 is just not slowing down in terms of being eventful. Oregon is literally on fire as nearly 370,000 acres of land area is covered by flames – and the enchanted forest that previously resided there has ceased to exist.

The nightmarish photos show and tell us the level of crippleness with anxiety and fear.

You can’t deny that Climate Change is responsible for this and for many other wildfires that have occurred in the past year. Due to this, the heat waves have gotten stronger and vegetation has almost dried out.

Daniel Swain is a climate scientist at UCLA and the National Center for Atmospheric Research. While speaking to CNN about the destructive nature of these wildfires, he said that they’re neither “scientifically surprising” nor “shocking”.

"This is in line with essentially every prediction for what could happen this year and the trends we're seeing over years and decades.” – He added.
