In 1900, a series of postcards were produced by the German chocolate company Hildebrands. These postcards imagined the condition of the Seven Wonders of the World in the year 2000s.
We know that the people living in the Victorian era were far more sophisticated than we ever could imagine ourselves to be. However, the renditions envisioned by them were bodies dressed in the same Victorian fashion but living in a superlatively advanced world. These bodies enjoyed all the leisure activities of life.
