You know what they say,
when you decide to appear on Fox News, you mentally prepare how to retort to every
criticism, thrown towards the Democrats, and that’s exactly what Pete Buttigieg
did with the script on Fox News!
Even after several
attacks on Kamala Harris and other right-wing political strategists, Pete
Buttigieg remained unfazed.
This one-time,
though, the Presidential candidate didn’t give Fox hosts Martha MacCallum and
Bret Baier a single chance to divert the conversation to something unnecessary.
At one point, MacCallum tried to force Buttigieg to state the differences
between Senator Harris and Presidential nominee Biden on their past healthcare
politics.
He had a brilliant
response to this:
“There’s
a classic parlor game of trying to find a little bit of daylight between
running mates. If people want to play that game, we can look into why an
evangelical Christian like Mike Pence wants to be on a ticket with a president
caught with a porn star, [or] how he feels about an immigration policy he
called unconstitutional before he decided to team-up with Donald Trump. If
folks want to play that game, we can do it all night.”
– He said.
What a clever way of taking
a dig at Pence! Buttigieg then said that most Americans are actually interested
in being protected from the deadly Coronavirus. Baier again tried to change the
course of conversation but Buttigieg remained rock solid.
