Protests have finally brought some changes and even though there is a long way to go, the good news is that all four murderers of George Floyd have been arrested. Other than that, Floyd’s autopsy report has also arrived and according to Hennepin County, he also tested positive for coronavirus.

His nasal swab was tested during the post-mortem and it indicated “2019-nCOV RNA”, another medical term for the novel virus.

Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker said that this test is called PCR and can show positive results “for weeks after the onset and resolution of clinical disease.”

As a result, Baker said, “the autopsy result most likely reflects asymptomatic but persistent PCR positivity from previous infection” which means that the virus had no part in killing George Floyd and the blame is entirely on the police officers.
