Blatant racism is being called out by almost everyone now and quite shockingly, Amazon that has a track record of mistreating employees is now planning to investigate the mistreatment of one of their delivery drivers at the hands of the police.
On Tuesday, Amazon’s black delivery guy was arrested by the police in Warren, Michigan and they claimed that he was on the wrong side of the street. They asked him to move and he resisted the officer which led to his arrest. Now we all know how fake these “resisted” charges are because it gives police officers a pass to carry out their brutalities, even if that results in a murder like that of George Floyd.
On Tuesday evening, Amazon's head of worldwide operations Dave Clark attached a link to this story on his Twitter account and called it “shocking, unacceptable and inexcusable”.

The link revealed the footage of a witness video that showed a white officer
bent beside the Amazon delivery driver who was lying on the ground face down.
“We are digging in to support the driver and to ensure there is a proper outcome to this investigation,” Clark tweeted.
The driver’s identity has been kept unknown but according to reports, he was delivering the packages on Engleman Road so the police stopped him.
Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer said the driver parked on the wrong side of the road and the police department was going to release the footage recorded from an officer’s motorcycle camera soon.
“The officer approached the driver and made 11 requests for his driver's license,” Dwyer said. He claims that the twenty-three-year-old driver refused to show the license which then resulted in the arrest. “The officer then attempted to place the driver under arrest and a minor struggle ensued,” he said. “The driver was taken to the ground, wrist-locked, handcuffed, arrested, and transported to the police station.”
Amazon says that the company will investigate the charges because the story of the police officers and the events of the witness video do not align. “We see what others see in this video, and it's unacceptable,” an Amazon representative said on Wednesday. “We expect a swift investigation and full accountability for those involved. Amazon will deploy all necessary resources to investigate the matter with our Delivery Service Provider, as well as to represent and support the driver.”
One witness said that the arrest was “unnecessary” and “aggressive”. "He was aggressive, taking him down to the ground. It was so ridiculous over a traffic offence,”
Jim Michaels, who ordered the package that the driver was delivering, told WXYZ-TV.
