On Sunday, The State Department of Public Health provided the updated count of Coronavirus cases in Massachusetts. He announced the emergence of 698 new cases, which is truly another blow of tragedy. So, now the total number of COVID-19 patients has risen to 4,955 with four more deaths pronounced. The announcement of the 4 new deaths has rounded to a total of 48 deaths.
The departed souls included : an 80-something lady from Berkshire County who had pre-existing conditions, a 90-year-old woman from Middlesex County with similar conditions; a woman in her mid-70s from Norfolk County, and an 80-year-old man from Essex County with an unknown medical condition.
Middlesex County and Suffolk County are running neck to neck with 981 and 940 cases being reported respectively. Norfolk County has a total of 548 cases, Essex County has declared 570 cases, Worchester County has 337 and Plymouth ends last with 325 cases. On Sunday, around 39,066 cases were tested in Massachusetts

The United States of America is at the brink of war with this novel pandemic. As of now, 135,000 people have tested positive, and 2,400 people have died as a result of this contagion. New York has reported the highest number of cases with a count of 59,513 people. More than 900 people have lost their lives in the Big Apple.

It’s genuinely concerning as nobody has been able to find a remedy and COVID-19 seems unstoppable. Around 700,000 people have been affected worldwide and 33,000 people have lost their lives.
However, let’s not lose hope as it’s the only thing that can keep us going. We have witnessed the recovery of 145,000 people, which means that a cure is possible. Therefore, by maintaining social distance, and following the precautions mandated by the healthcare sector, we can control the damage.
