Ever seen an alcoholic, grown-up and misogynist character promoting a fast-food chain? Well, you will now!
You probably haven't heard of a fast-food chain (with a similar menu to Arbys) that once had 500+ restaurants back in the 1980s. Now, it has eight only, all thanks to their awful marketing campaigns and advertisement!
This particular case is the best fit of a class of ‘Commercial that killed a fast-food chain’.
Vlogbrothers made a perfect video explaining how a single marketing campaign kicks them out of their business! First off, they don't even have a target audience, the only audience who would watch such commercials would be grown-up adults who don’t really like chicken and kids around in the restaurant.
They even created a mascot who embodied the same emotional sentiments, Mr. Delicious, and because of that, the food-chain went bankrupt!
