Disney is finally rolling the dice and giving us what we want: WandaVision!
Last night we got the first trailer of Disney Plus’s Marvel TV series, and it looks spectacular! The trailer begins with the recreation of 1950s black-and-white sitcom featuring Vision (Paul Bettany) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Our screen eventually paints itself in color.
It seems pretty evident that the show will be set after the event that took place in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame – after Vision is killed by Thanos. We’re not sure what bought him back to life, but of course, we’re interested to watch another Marvel drama unfold.
The only sad news that we have is that there’s no set release date as of yet. The trailer simply ends with the words “coming soon”. However, Disney had previously mentioned that the show will hit our screens in December.
It’s better if we don’t get our hopes up because they were brutally crushed when The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series got delayed just weeks before they were set to arrive – thanks, corona! Apart from this, the next Marvel series that has been announced as part of Marvel Phase 4 is Loki and Hawkeye.
Let’s not put all the pressure on Marvel’s TV shows, because they’re not the only ones apologizing for delays.
Enter: Black Widow.

The movie was slated to release in May, but due to many circumstantial delays, it will not hit the theatres in November. Variety has claimed that another delay is expected due to the sudden surge in cases. More movies include Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also featuring Scarlet Witch, Thor: Love and Thunder, and the third Spider-Man movie.
Yes, we’re all sad but let’s seek comfort in knowing that all our superheroes are safe and sound. Do you think Vision can get Coronavirus because technically he’s a bot? Let us know in the comments section below!
