Marvel Cinematic Universe make its official attempt on to Television with WandaVision, releasing its first two episodes on Disney Plus yesterday, 15th January. It is also the first project after the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
If you’re expecting an action-packed thriller comeback, you’re going to get disappointed big time!
Well, there is no Thanos, no end-of-the-world situation, no blood-lusted chase after infinity stones, there is just two now-married Avengers characters enigmatically being introduced to us against a backdrop of black-and-white theme song of 50s sitcom. Just like a newly-married couple, they are driving to their home; Wanda in a white dress, Vision in a neat suit, excited to begin their new life. But something feels really odd…

WandaVision may be different from the Marvel movies we know, which makes it even perfect to watch at the beginning of a New Year (if we go with the logic of New Year, New Marvel Content).
All in all, MCU’s latest series is fascinating for all those curious marvel fans desperate to know what’s going to happen next after Avengers: Endgame and also equally fascinating for those who might feel a bit drained out on all those superheroes crap.
The review of first two episodes of WandaVision pays classic homage to 50’s sitcom and WandaVision viewers and fans are overwhelmed with….. Confusion! They don’t know what the heck is going on…
Marvel's WandaVision viewers and fans flocked to twitter to express their delight, excitement, disappointments and confusions about the latest Marvel’s sitcom WandaVision (with the help of memes, of course):
Spoiler alert: some of the memes below contain spoilers of the show WandaVison, streaming on DisneyPlus. If you haven’t watched the first two episodes of season one, do not scroll further:

WandaVision picks up the life of Wanda Maximoff and Vision as a married couple who just moved into a friendly neighborhood suburb. They try to adjust into the life of normal people, hiding the fact that she is a witch with powers and he is some kind of a robot… Vision invites his boss at home without letting Wanda know, and eventually the wife saves the day by making a perfect feast, obviously, with powers…
From there, things started to go haywire... Maximoff finds the ads in the show a little strange. In the second episode, there’s a time jump from the 50’s fashion to the 60s. There’s some insinuation about the couple’s former job as an Avenger, where they used to sacrifice their lives and their relationship to save the world (Though, there’s no apparent mention about how Vision brought back to life after he died in Avengers: Infinity War).
No matter how strange and bizarre it sounds, WandaVision looks quite interesting. It’s intriguing to see a superpower/ robot-witch (whatever you call them) couple seemingly stuck in a sitcom. After all, a sitcom is an ideal place to hide when the world goes a bit crazy, right?
