To all those people who lost their weekly dose of Saturday Night Live do not worry anymore as this show is coming live once again. The episode may not include all the segments but it will air with new content on April 11th.
The cast is going to shoot some of the segments from home and that means individual sketches would not be possible due to issues of streaming them live. Right now, millions of people across the world are using the Internet which means that only certain performances will be able to go live but it's confirmed that the episode would include a “Weekend Update”.
The news for new episodes came after the producer Hal Wilner passed away due to COIV-19 as he already had pre-existing medical conditions which became worse after the virus.
Saturday Night Live was closed for live studio audience after the episode hosted by Daniel Craig on March 7th aired. However, the live that was supposed to take place with John Krasinski on March 28th was cancelled because social distancing rules were implemented all over the United States.
Many late-night television shows are now airing their content on social media so that cast and crew members do not have to come to the studio and risk their health. So clear your schedule and mark the date for April 11th to see what SNL has in store for the audience.
