As the spookiest season is just around the corner,
Netflix has decided to add another foreign flick in its horror genre—and this time it’s from Bartosz M. Kowalski.

Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight’ is a polish
movie, originally titled “W lesie dziś nie zaśnie nikt.” The film follows a
group of tech-addicted teenagers who decide to go offline camp at the forest
and end up encountering a deadly danger lurking in the woods.

The movie
was originally intended for Friday the 13th release in theatres

Originally, it was intended for a theatrical
release on the 13th of March, on Friday, making it one of the many
spooky movies released on a Friday the 13th. The film garnered many
positive reviews from the critics, and despite that, it was released on the
streaming giant exclusively for Poland a week later and became the most-watched
Netflix films in the country. Now, the movie is getting a Netflix treatment and is
scheduled to release on October 28.

It’s not a
typical horror movie!

you think it would be! It’s an impressive fusion of some iconic movies
including The Goonies, The Terminator, and even He-Man movies. Just like these
movies, Kowalski’s piece is more of a dark thriller.

set in the 90s

The story revolves around a group of teenagers,
dressed up in the 90s fashion, encountering the evil lurking in the woods. The
fans of Stranger Things might like to watch this movie.

protagonist, Zosia.

characters as they may, ahem, get
killed one by one.
