Designer Alexander Wang
has been accused of sexual assault and we’re honestly sick of it. Wang, who is
fashion espionage with a

high-end label in hands, is facing a major backlash
after two industry watchdogs – @s-tmodelmgmt and @DietPrada – began sharing
anonymous accounts of sexual misconduct by him.

One of the posts that
have been shared includes model Owen Mooney’s experience. The model came out
with the experience through a TikTok video. He said that he met Wang in a
crowded club in New York back in 2017. On this occasion, he groped him in the
genital area.

In the video he
explains the entire incident: “I was
by myself at one point and this guy next to me obviously took advantage of the
fact that no one could f—ing move and he just started like, touching me up.
And fully like, up my leg, in my crotch, like it made me freeze completely
because I was in such shock. I looked to my left to see who it was and it was
this really famous fashion designer. Like, I couldn’t believe that he was doing
that to me. It made me go into even more shock. It was really f—ed up.”

In the first video, he
didn’t take Wang’s name. However, he did post a follow-up in which he bravely
called him out and took his name without hesitation or fear. It was also
observed that many fans figured out that it was Wang when only the first video
was posted. Does it remind you of another sexual predator in power – Donald Trump!

The fact that fans
guessed his name correctly actually surprised Mooney because he discovered that
Wang had behaved inappropriately with others as well.

“This
comment surprised me just because they actually got it right. It turns out
Alexander Wang is a massive sexual predator and there’s been a load of other
people that he’s done this to. So in that case, he needs to be exposed.”
– Mooney concluded.

We’ve reached out to
the representatives for Alexander Wang for a comment but so far the company has
declined to comment. Besides, no third party has come forth to confirm or deny
Mooney’s shocking details of sexual assault allegations.

There’s been a post by
S–t Model Management declaring Alexander Wang of sexual assault. In fact, the
company has claimed that Wang has been a predator for many years now. The
company feels that instead of letting these abdominal incidents continue to get
swept under a rug, its time they actually take action. They also urged
followers to unfollow @alexwangny & @alexanderwangny on social media to
showcase support to the victims – known and unknown.

The account also went
on to show complete support to the victims by sharing their stories – even the
unverified and anonymous ones. In one of the stories, it was exposed that Wang
laced their drink with Molly, which is a stimulant MDMA. In another incident,
the victim said that Wang coerced them into his room for the night.

Wang is a close friend
with celebrities like Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Baldwin. It
has also been observed that he often glorifies party culture in his runway
shows and fashion designs. In fact, back in 2018, his show was titled #WangFest
and it displayed major headpieces that had words like Party Animal and Wangover
written all over them.

The Model Alliance – a
company that works effectively to promote and encourage “fair treatment,
equal opportunity, and sustainable practices in the fashion industry”
declared that is stands in solidarity with the victims.

In the official
statement, the agency said: “Let’s
be clear: The fashion industry’s lack of transparency and accountability leaves
all models vulnerable to abuse, regardless of their sex or gender
identity.”

Mooney posted an Instagram
story on Wednesday in which he said that he doesn’t mind having his face all
over the news. But he also wants to be clear and tell people that there are
people who’ve had it worse than him.

takes a lot of bravery to actually come forward with a brutal story in an
industry where sexual violence is so deep-rooted. He is appalled by people who
maintain silence, knowing that such horrific acts continue to happen and that
people have absolutely no remorse whatsoever.
