In the case of Trump, the spawns are no better than their father. However, one particular member of the Trump family has managed to stay out of the spotlight since election night. Barron Trump is the youngest member of the Trump family, born to Melania and Donald Trump on March 20th, 2006. The first public appearance made by Barron was on Election night when he was photographed beside his father after Trump claimed victory.  His facial expressions demonstrated immense boredom, which is, after all, the Trump family trademark.

Despite his nonchalant and carefree attitude, Barron Trump is yet to be studied. Here are a few things you may wanna know about him:

He is the only child of Donald and Melania Trump

It’s not uncommon to think that the Trump family tree is pretty diverse. The current president of the United States has six children, divided amongst three wives.
While Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump Jr., were born to Donald Trump’s first wife, his other children, Ivana Trump and Tiffany Trump, were born to his second wife. This leaves Barron Trump, who is the only child of the current first lady, Melania Trump.

Barron was born almost a year after the couple got married. After winning the presidential elections, Melania Trump and her son, Barron stayed in the Trump Tower’s penthouse in Fifth Avenue, New York City. However, after he completed his year at the Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, the mother and son duo joined Donald Trump at the White House in D.C.

Melania Trump is very protective of him
Barron Trump has been kept away from the public eye because of his protective mother. Currently, Melania Trump wants him to live a ‘normal life’ out of the spotlight.  In an interview with ABC News, Melania Trump reported having stated, “I keep him balanced and — just have him a childhood as normal as possible. And he’s enjoying his school and his sports. He’s a great athlete. And I just want to have him — out of the spotlight for now.”

In a later interview, she revealed that although he isn’t living a normal life, he is very much ‘enjoying’ his time at the White House. She also believes that by keeping him away from the spotlight, she can give him “the life he deserves.”

Barron Trump is the only boy in the White House after JFK JR.

There haven’t been many boys residing in the White House. In fact, Barron Trump is the first male under the age of eighteen to live in the White House after JFK Jr. This suggests that after sixty years, Barron Trump changed the patterns in the presidential residence!

He speaks Slovenian, English and possibly French.

Taking on the heritage of this mother, Barron Trump is reported fluent in Slovenian and English. According to his proud mama, he was speaking all three languages, just at the age of three.

When he is interacting with his maternal grandparents, he speaks Slovenian, whereas he converses in English with his peers and other family members.
Melania refused to hire a nanny for her son.

Melania is reported to be very handed on with her son. She is expected to pick him up from school and be present with him at all times. Being a devoted mother, she sets him at a high priority and is always around even when her husband is traveling.

His skincare is better than yours.
According to Melania’s interview with ABC News in 2013, she revealed that she took special care of her son’s skin. By special, it means that she moisturizes his skin using caviar infused skincare, form her own line of skincare products, after he takes his nightly baths. “It smells very, very fresh. I put it on him from head to toe. He likes it.”
However, this may no longer be true, as Melania’s skincare line struggled to survive, soon after it was launched.

He likes to dress sharp
Barron Trump dresses to impress. His mother states that he likes to wear occasional suits and tie to resemble his father.
“He’s not a sweatpants child,” Melania Trump stated in an interview with ABC news.
