Sorry, no worms in 2020...

Another day, another delay. Dune is the latest addition in the list of movies which got delayed for a release in 2021, including Black Widow and No time to Die.

Dune's release date has changed and the movie is now scheduled to release on October 1st, 2021, almost a year’s delay after the initial December 18th release date.

The delay decision was made after Regal and Cineworld announced that it would be closing down all of its cinemas in the US and the UK, after the delay of No Time to Die last week.

Their decision is quite justified, as many movies are pushed back to 2021 due to the pandemic. There’s no point of opening the cinemas as there isn’t much content to display in the theatres right now.

Somewhere deep down in our heart, we all knew that the much-anticipated movie Dune would also be delayed like any other movie, as studios are still figuring out the right time to debut their biggest movies.

But, you know what? Warner Bros’ major 2020 film Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is already slated for the same day release on 1st October. It indicates that one of the two Warner Bros’ blockbusters will again shift to another release date. Maybe an earlier one, who knows.

After learning from the consequences of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, every filmmaker is hesitant to release their movies in this raging year 2020. It’s fair to say that 2020 struck a major blow at the film studios. Hopefully, 2021 will be a much better year for both movie junkies and the filmmakers.

Till then, check out the trailer:
